  • Feeling a little off today due to routine shift. Bright spot is 4 hours until I leave. Need some downtime tonight. #

It’s finally happened

I’m in love with one of my own stories.

I dreaded this day. I worry that I won’t be objective enough to see its flaws. Or receptive enough to suggestions for revision.

But damn it, I really love this story. I think it’s one of the best I’ve ever written.

Twitter Updates for 2009-01-07
  • Somewhat of a productive night. Started some revisions. Finished a new spreadsheet. DId some laundry. Little steps when they can’t be big. #
  • Work is actually moving today. Like moving on, I mean. Not emotionally affecting. #
  • Do you say it “toll-kee-en” or “toll-keen”? #

  • @gregvaneekhout I think I watched it once. Not very good at all. Futuristic, yet another Macleod and a fake Connery as Ramirez. #
  • What is all this talk I see about LJ and backups? Is it going away? #
  • I still miss you, He’brew Jewbelation 12. I think about you all the time. Especially at work. #
  • @ecmyers Hmmm. Just saw that. Oh well. Nothing I can do from work. I don’t know that I need LJ anymore anyway. #
  • I have a submission log (a spreadsheet), but does anyone have a log to track all of their stories, in all drafts? #
  • @pablod I am now lured by iWork, too. Could be the best solution for me. #
  • @johnjosephadams The new Garage Band will have instruction segments and you will be able to download additional from the iTunes store #
  • @ecmyers more like what’s in progress, revision, post crit session, and submitted/ready. #
  • @miiru looks like they laid off 20 of 28 employees and people are predicting the end. #
  • @johnjosephadams Probably. I don’t know that it’s worth the $80 upgrade. Though iPhoto is updated too. #

Someone tell me why the Stargate television series are good. I ask only because I never really watched it and it seems to have legions of fans. I also ask because it is where Ben Browder and Claudia Black ended up after Farscape. And because it’s always on. Someone must be watching and loving this show.
