And apparently it’s been 4 months since I last posted. What’s been going on? Well, I’ve been hard at work on Rising Tide. I turned the manuscript in last week and am already on to copyedits. It was a hard slog at times, but such a great learning experience. I feel like I leveled up as a result. I’m hoping this is the start of the next phase of writing for me.

Speaking of coming out from under, I didn’t get a chance to post the cover of Rising Tide. Yet another amazing Chris McGrath masterpiece. Hope you enjoy it!

    I loved the Card Sharp story in the weird west anthology Dead Man’s Hand. I have The Way of the Wizard on request at my library so will be reading another CS story (first one?). Ghod! Please tell me you’re writing a Card Sharp novel…

    Thanks! Yes, the first story is in Way of the Wizard. I’m currently working on a third one, and yes, there is a novel in progress, but it’s been slow going… Thanks for getting in touch.
