I may have found another theme that might work. The question is – do people (readers) prefer a fixed width center column or variable width? I’ve used a variable width in the past, but I have a wide monitor.
What do people think?

So I’ve been playing around with some WordPress themes and I’ve gone through about half a dozen. The one that’s up now is serviceable, but I’m not sure I’ll keep it. It’s just lacking something. What I’m looking for is something that allows for widgets, but also has 3 columns.
I’ll keep looking. I feel weird using someone else’s design, but I’m hardly a web designer and it makes things much easier.
It will do for the time being.
This site will be my main public blog, though I expect I’ll still post personal posts on LJ for those who are keeping track.
Now back to tinkering…
This is a test to see if my new plugin works. If so, this will appear both on my main site and on my LJ.
Here goes…
After many months of thinking about it, I finally installed WordPress on my site. I intend for this site to be my primary blog with it crossposting into LiveJournal. It’s been too long since I had actual content on the site and this way it will hopefully be more dynamic.
I’m still learning the ins and outs of the software and tweaking the site so it looks how I want it to look, so bear with me for a little while.
If you’re reading this, however, welcome. I hope you stick around…
