I recently narrated a podcast of fellow Altered Fluid member N K Jemisin’s story, Red Riding-Hood’s Child for Podcastle.
Warning – as the site says, the story contains sex and wolves.

Maybe not highlights, but a look at various shows.
I’ve begun writing up some posts about various shows on Your Mom’s Basement. More will follow as shows air.
Also be sure to check out Theresa’s post on Tor.com about Heroes.
Check back regularly for new content on YMB.
People who know me know that I have a tremendous love of dirigibles. Here, then, care of Warren Ellis, is a page devoted to those of the Russian variety.
Pre-communist Russian Dirigibles

As most of you who read this know, I helped start a website called Your Mom’s Basement with my friends Ed and Pete some years back. The mandate of the site was to put up content related to geek culture – books, comics, movies, games, etc.
We hit a lull recently, mostly because just among the three of us there were two divorces and a marriage, not to mention numerous job changes and life occurences on the part of all our contributors. But we’re getting things back on track and releasing new content on a regular basis. In its current incarnation, the site will be a little less formal and a bit more like a blog and will, for the time being, consist mostly of content from the three founders.
I am starting a series (first part up now) on the fall television season.
I mention this just because I thought you might want to give it a look. And please feel free to comment about the articles or about anything on the message board.
And if you’re interested in writing something for us, please let me know. We don’t pay right now, but we can do our best to get your name out there.
I just finished revising three stories. One was the last story I wrote before Clarion West, one was my first story at Clarion West, and one was a story I wrote in my last week at Clarion West once I was done with all of my assignments. The nice thing is that I feel pretty good about all of these stories. I hope to be able to send them out soon.
I’m also working on a few new things as well.
Nothing like writing accomplishments to carry you through when the rest of your life is filled with fail.
